Eve’s approach is customized and practical. She offers guidance and tools to achieve three goals: Assessing the attorney’s current situation; articulating goals, and developing a realistic action plan.

The EBA program includes the four key phases of your career advancement:

The first phase includes the evaluation of the attorney’s current situation, skills and experience using self-assessment and 360 assessment tools. In this phase, we focus on setting goals and determining priorities.

In the next phase, we create a detailed action plan covering the development of substantive legal skills as well as strategic business relationships. This stage includes a development plan alignment meeting with the attorney’s key relationship partners at the firm.

The third phase consists of regularly scheduled ongoing coaching and reporting of progress and overcoming obstacles in taking action steps in the plan.

Finally, Eve facilitates the delivery by the attorney of a final report to the firm showing metrics of progress and success.

Outplacement

Eve Birnbaum Associates provides outplacement and career transition services to attorneys at global law firms and professionals at financial services firms and hi tech companies. Eve and her team work with your talent to effectively assess their career and their goals to create a customized doable plan. Eve’s experience as the former Global Director of Legal Recruiting at Milbank LLP gives her unique insight into how to succeed in the job market. She has coached attorneys and other professionals at all levels helping them identify and transition into new positions, and even careers, at other firms and organizations.
